General Counsel

Gill has the responsibility for all Legal and Corporate Compliance activities for FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, working closely with the Fujifilm regional headquarters around the globe to ensure the continued support and involvement that we benefit from as part of the FUJIFILM Corporation group.

Gill joined FDB as Regional Counsel for the European entities in 2016 and has been a major contributor to the success of our organization since she joined. Prior to joining FDB, Gill worked at the top tier global law firms Eversheds Sutherland and Womble Bond Dickinson and was also in-house counsel for AVIVA and Vocalink (a Mastercard company). In these roles Gill gained extensive experience leading high profile cross jurisdictional transactions; outsourcing, offshoring and insourcing of services and technology; as well as M&A and franchising.

Gill gained a Joint Honours degree in English and Classical Literature at Leeds University before completing a law conversion qualification (Common Professional Examination) and the Legal Practice Course at the UK’s College of Law.
