Category Manager – Indirect Procurement
We are in an exciting phase where we are extending our Supply Chain organisation within Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnology Denmark to support the growth of the site.
As part of this journey we will expand our Sourcing and Procurement team with additional resources and we are now looking for an experienced Category Manager (Indirect) to join our team. You will be part of a team building the Category Management function for the site.
About the role
- Responsibility for the Category Facilities & Supplies
- Define/Establish Category strategies for your Category
- Analyse spend and asses opportunity / Spend Management
- Conduct and Support RFX processes and Contract negotiations
- Select and activate Supplier
- Establish Strategic Sourcing Metrics
- Close collaboration with stakeholders
This role is part of our Supply Chain Management organization covering the following areas and functions:
- Sourcing & Procurement (indirect and direct)
- Supply Planning
- Warehouse Finish Goods
- Warehouse Drug Substance Manufacturing
- Strategic Planning & Analytics
- SAP Master Data
- Proven experience as Category Manager, preferable within Biotech/ Life Science
- You are self-driven and comfortable in situations where multi-tasking is essential
- Strong analytical and data driven approach is an advantage
- High level of customer focus/service minded approach
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or similar

Our manufacturing site in Hillerød, Denmark, brings together a complete range of expertise, capabilities and technologies to manufacture advanced biologics. Our large scale manufacturing facility has a capacity of 120,000 liters to reliably manufacture biologics for late phase and commercial use. The facility for medical device assembly, labeling and packaging manufactures advanced delivery systems and ensures required labeling and secure packaging of the therapies for patients worldwide. The site also houses quality control laboratories, warehouses, and a number of organizations, supporting the manufacturing activities: process science, supply chain management, engineering and quality assurance. On June 9, 2020 FUJIFILM Corporation has announced the investment of approx. 6 billion Danish kroner into the site to double the manufacturing capacity, to add a fill finish capacity and to enhance the assembly, label and pack services on site. The investment is expected to create approx. 300 new jobs.
