System Manager

We are looking for System Managers to join our Information Technology Department. You will be responsible for operation and maintenance of the defined GxP and non-GxP IT systems across departments as well as instruments systems.

You will be part of a newly established team within the IT Department where we are looking for more colleagues to join.

Your main job tasks will be to manage the expectations of Line of Business (LoB), customers and users concerning the use of the IT systems together with providing a single point of contact and escalation for the IT systems. Furthermore, to ensure that the most appropriate levels of service are supplied to meet future business needs. You will be responsible for 2nd level support for the system, being point of escalation for 1st level support and making sure guidelines, how-to’s and other relevant guiding documentation is available for 1st level support.

You will have continuous tasks related to the IT systems i.e. produce system specific reports with corrective actions, monitor and evaluate the need for upgrades and increased capacity, responsible for creation and maintenance of system documentation, identify & manage implementation of new requirements to existing IT systems and services.

The role also includes smaller project management tasks as driving upgrade projects and secure operation management is considered in projects, potentially participate in large IT and compliance projects, drive own optimization projects and projects in cooperation with vendor.


  • Msc or B.Sc within computer science, business administration, engineering or similar, preferably with background in automation in productioN
  • 5-10 years of operation and maintenance of IT systems, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with production; IT Projects and administration of IT systems
  • Documented ISO and cGMP understanding and knowledge to GAMP
  • Quality minded
  • Structured with strong analytical skills
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills
  • High sense of responsibility
