As we continue on a period of significant growth we have an opportunity for temporary Senior Staff Scientist to join the Process Desgin Department. Reporting to the Director of Late Phase CMC –The position will be a key member of the Process Design team.
Key Responsibilities: detailed on the Job Description
Design, plan, implement and manage late stage process development activities by application of both scientific knowledge and awareness of GMP, Fujifilm manufacturing, Quality and regulatory requirements including QbD.
Provide scientific knowledge and experience to projects to help generating plans for late stage CMC activities and also in development of solutions to technical problems by scientific understanding, options assessment and application of innovative solutions to facilitate on-time, on-cost delivery of project milestones by project teams.
Lead, motivate and develop scientists in functional area and within expert groups to assist in the development and growth of scientific expertise in R&D.
Lead the delivery and dissemination/sharing across the R&D community of best scientific and technical practise in defied area by appropriate expert group by maintaining a knowledge of the state of the art and by capture of knowledge/learning arising from customer programmes.
Provide technical support to commercial programmes, including re-introduction activities, on plant support during manufacture when required, review of manufacturing data and authoring of validation documents.
Work closely with the TPL group to design and deliver FMEA risk assessments, laboratory process characterisation studies and process validation activities when required.
Technical evaluation of external change notifications and takes part in the review of change controls at the site change control committee when required.
To act as Primary Technical Support for TPLs for late stage CMC activities
Author, review and technical approval of technical reports.
