As Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies UK Ltd continue on a period of significant growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager to work on an expansion project in the Microbial Manufacturing facility.
The expansion project will see the capacity of the large scale microbial manufacturing facility increase by greater than 50% by removing a number of current operational constraints. This project enables the business to position ourselves for sustained growth within the ever expanding biologics market. In the next 2-4 years this is likely to be followed by even further expansion as the market continues to grow and more and more products are granted regulatory approval.
You will have significant experience in delivering technically assured engineering solutions on a major capital investment in a brownfield capacity increase environment. We are looking for an experienced Project Engineering Manager with a proven track record of managing project engineering teams to deliver the engineering on this key business project.
The role is preferably suited to a chartered engineer although not essential, with experience of engineering design and delivery from concept through to detailed design, commissioning and qualification and finally handover to the operation team. You will have experience of managing third party design and build contractors and have the ability to define and approve engineering scope of works for the project, the ability to coach and mentor other engineers in this management role is a key requirement
We are looking for a candidate who can deliver technically assured engineering on the project on time, in full and meeting all regulatory compliance requirements. You will have a proven track record of working within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver successful projects to meet the business needs.
Ideally you will have an understanding of the engineering standards required to deliver projects to cGMP and regulatory requirements, previous experience in these skills is an essential requirement.
