An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineering Manager to become an integral part of our continued expansion. The role is responsible for managing a team of project engineers to deliver technically assured engineering projects in the highly regulated GMP environment.
You will have an engineering degree, in either Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. We are looking for an experienced manager with previous experience of managing engineering teams to deliver capital projects in an operational asset environment.
The role requires a chartered engineer with a range of experience of concept through to detailed design, commissioning and qualification. You will have experience of managing third party design and build contractor and have the ability to define and approve engineering scope of works for a range of capital projects, the ability to coach and mentor other engineers in this management role is a key requirement
We are looking for a candidate who can balance the demands of delivering projects on time in full and compliant whilst ensuring continuous improvement of our project processes. You will have a proven track record of working within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver successful projects to meet the business needs.
Ideally you will have an understanding of the engineering standards required to deliver projects to GMP and regulatory requirements, previous experience in these skills is an essential requirement
