As a Plant Engineer you provide engineering technical support for Plant Utilities and Support Equipment, such as Plant Steam boilers, Cooling Systems, Compressed Air systems, USP water systems, Water softeners, WFI stills, Clean Steam generators, HVAC systems, Cold/Freeze rooms and compressed gas delivery systems.
You develop and implement maintenance strategies to avoid unplanned downtime of equipment. You optimise and simplify corrective and preventative maintenance concepts and specify User Requirement Specifications. You provide project engineering support as required for new equipment installations and modifications to existing equipment.
- Acts as the Subject Matter Expert on Plant Utility Systems, troubleshoots complexed equipment failure and performs rootcause analysis
- Monitors and benchmarks equipment operability and performance, creates metrics
- Initiates and coordinates improvement projects and maintenance activities.
- Creates SOP’s and procedures as needed.
- Participates in cross site maintenance benchmarking and improvement meetings, communicates across departmental lines
You will join a team of 8 highly skilled and dedicated engineers and report to the Sr. Manager for Plant Engineering. The team is part of the Technical Operation & Support department and provides mechanical, electrical and automation engineering support for plant utilities and manufacturing support systems. You have a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable degree with min. 2 years of relevant experience with Plant Utility systems, preferably experience from a Bulk Manufacturing Facility or Food Industry. As our corporate language is English, you need to have good English verbal and written skills.
