As we continue on a period of significant growth we have a rare opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join our legal team in Billingham.
Reporting to Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies’ European Regional Counsel, the position will be a key member of the legal team. The successful candidate will be able to lead the legal review, drafting and negotiation of all types of commercial agreements; at all times balancing legal advice against complex commercial pressures as well as being able to provide advice to various internal business functions. Other key responsibilities will include maintaining a bank of precedents and interacting with US/European FUJIFILM group Legal Department colleagues to support the business achieve its projected growth and group corporate objectives. The successful candidate will have a high concern for business standards and integrity; as well as being pragmatic and a team player.
A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience is required. In house experience, experience in contract manufacturing legal practice and an interest in compliance topics is desirable. Part time/flexible working applications are welcome.
