Automation Engineers, MES Systems (Syncade) & Historians (PI)

Our Automation team in Hillerød is expanding and we are looking for two new colleagues. Do you have detailed knowledge on MES systems (Syncade) or Historians (PI) from a pharmaceutical environment, this could be your next job in a dynamic and international company in growth.

The Automation Engineers will report to the Manager of Automation and become part of a team of 15-18 highly skilled automation engineers and consultants. You will be part of our Automation group to support our strategy for the digital factory.

The positions:

Automation Engineer, MES Systems (Syncade)

Your responsibilities will be following

  • Develop and implement larger projects to support our vision of paperless manufacturing with full ERP/MES/DCS integration and enforced workflows.
  • Understand the business processes that MES support and ensure that Manufacturing processes and their supporting functions are the primary  driver for our solutions.
  • Support daily manufacturing and the teams supporting them.
  • Work as per defined procedures and ensure a validated state for automation systems.

Specific Qualifications

  • Process Equipment and support system design and operational knowledge.
  • Vast experience with MES and its integration to DCS and ERP.
  • Knowledge about DCS systems (DeltaV), Historians (PI) and reporting tools (InfoBatch) is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Ability to hold the role as technical lead.

Automation Engineer, Data Collection (PI)

Your responsibilities will be following

  • Develop and maintain our OSIsoft PI system to support our vision of paperless manufacturing and make reporting and data available in real-time.
  • Assist other departments and systems to retrieve data from manufacturing systems (DeltaV, Syncade, PI).
  • Support manufacturing and the processes they use.
  • Work as per defined procedures and ensure a validated state for automation systems.

Specific Qualifications

  • Process Equipment and support system design and operational knowledge.
  • Vast experience with Historians and the contextualization of data.

Qualifications required for both roles:

  • 6+ years total experience with automation in the areas of GMP manufacturing and/or engineering in a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Master‘s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering subject with a minimum of 6 years related industry experience.
  • Ability to work under short timelines within a manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborative attitude with the willingness to work with global peers toward company and department goals.
  • Ability to organize personal tasks.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
